Hello! My name is Cason Justice. I'm a teacher at Swansboro High School, and I'll get right to the point. Our students and teachers here want to make a difference in the world. We know how lucky we are to live in a country of such wealth and blessings where the majority of people can take things like food and water for granted. We feel it's time we started using our abundance to help others who weren't born as fortunate as we were.

Many people around the world don’t have the luxury of clean water. Every day, about 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. Girls and women are taken out of schools simply to fetch dirty water from miles and miles away. But it doesn’t have to be that way. There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world.

100% of the money raised will be used to build clean water projects, and when they’re complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we helped.

We here at Swansboro High School started this fundraising campaign to help charity: water build these types of projects, and we're looking for anyone who can help us raise $10,000 - the cost it takes to build a well in a third-world community.

Please donate to our campaign -- anything you can give is a huge help!
