Swansboro Pirates made History on Saturday 9/24/16.   For the first time ever the Boys won the County Championship.  The boys also had two runners place in the top two.  In previous County Championships no Swansboro male had ever finished better than fourth place.  The only thing that sweetened this history making event was the fact that the girls also won the County Championship. Having both teams win the County Championship was something that we knew we had the ability to do, but didn't know if we could bring it all together on the day.

Varsity Male Results:

-Liam Anderson, Swansboro's first male County Champion, won the meet in a season best time of 17:13.
