Congratulations to junior, Caitlyn Crow, for being selected into NC Governor's School for vocal music!  Caitlyn will partake in a 5 week intensive program at Meredith College this summer.

Congratulations to the 2013 All State representatives: Dusty Rumans, Desiree Adams and Amanda McLaughlin

Congratulations to the 2013 All County representatives with was held at Northside High School under the direction of Dr. Andrew Crane from ECU School of Music.  They are: Nicole Hoogkamp, Amanda McLaughlin, Tara Fevang, Laura Harkleroad, Caitlyn Crow, Rebekah Cianfaglione, Judy Sobien, Steven Stump, Travis Wyatt, Brandon Wright, and Dusty Rumans.

Congratulations to the Swansboro High School Concert Choir who received a rating of "Excellent" performance and "Superior" on sight singing at the MPA choral festival at Havelock High School.

Congratulations to the Swansboro High School Chamber Choir who received a rating of "Superior" performance at MPA choral festival at West Carteret High School. 

Nine students competed in MPA solos:

Nicole Hoogkamp, Amanda McLaughlin, Caitlyn Crow, Caroline Kreiner, Desiree Adams, Steven Stump, and Dusty Rumans- Superior ratings
